Early medieval burial place in Ostrowite (near Chojnice, northern Poland) was partialy excavated in 1994 by Jerzy Kmieciński and since 2008 by the Krzysztof Walenta, Jerzy Sikora and Łukasz Trzciński from the Institute of Archaeology of University of Lodz.

Grave pit of grave 11, with 4 postholes – remains of „house of dead”, from 11 – 12 century.
